This is a real bargain! Consider your options for swimming elsewhere and you’ll see we truly have a treasure with this small community pool. Enjoy the convenience, crystal clear water and all the benefits of getting exercise in an outdoor pool!

Your membership is for a full year from the time when you join.  For example, if you become a member in May 2025, your membership is good through May 2026.

What size is the pool?

The pool is about 40 feet long (~13.25 yds) by 20 feet wide (~6.5 yds). The depth runs from 3.5 feet to 5 feet deep.

What other amenities are there?

The pool and hot tub area has lounge chairs and umbrella-shaded tables and chairs. There are two separate bathrooms with enough room to change in. There is also an external shower with hot water.

Guests
You’re welcome to occasionally bring a guest. Members and guests must abide by the Guest Policy.
What if I live at Blacklake and sell my house?
A Blacklake Swim Club member who sells their residence during the current season is eligible to offer their buyer transfer of the pool membership for a $50 fee.  This transaction is independent of all escrow and transfer issues and must be pre-approved by the Blacklake Swim Club Board of Directors.
Are the annual dues prorated?

Annual dues are not prorated.  However, membership dues are for one year from the time you join. As a non-profit organization, all dues and fees go towards pool maintenance and upkeep.  All board members and many others volunteer their time to keep the pool running, and so we are not able to prorate memberships.

What is the pool/spa temperature?

The pool is heated and maintained at 80-84 degrees F. The spa is set at 102 degrees F.  Thus the pool and spa are warm/hot enough to be enjoyed year round.

What is the privacy policy?

Use of membership rosters and membership information is confidential and only to be used by the board for the purposes of communication and information distribution.  Members do not have access lists and may not use such lists for any reason in any case.

What if I lose my key?

Please email us at blacklakeswimclub2024@gmail.com if you lose or damage your key fob. Once approved, your replacement can be picked up at the Blacklake Community Room (open Mon-Fri 9am-12pm).
