THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Use of this pool is at your own risk.
Children: Children under age 14 must be accompanied by a BLSC member 18 years of age or older. Children under age 6 are not allowed in the spa.
Deck Equipment: Help keep a neat and tidy complex. Return chairs and lounges to their proper location before leaving the pool. Please cover the spa (bubble side down) if leaving near closing time.
Diapers: All infants, toddlers and incontinent persons must wear waterproof diapers while in the pool. Please put dirty diapers in a plastic bag before disposing of them in one of the pool’s covered trash bins – or dispose of them at home.
Diving: NO DIVING ALLOWED
Gate: Make sure the gate is latched upon entering and exiting.
Golf Carts: Must not block entrances to the pool complex.
Guests: Must be accompanied by a current member. Members are responsible for their guests. Read the full Guest Policy here.
Key Fobs: Are not to be shared with anyone outside of the member’s household.
Lap Swimming: Swimmers have use of the “lap lane” (on side parallel to Golf Course Lane). Other swimmers may use the pool while there are lap swimmers. Please all be courteous of each other’s space.
Parking: Parking is NOT permitted on Tourney Hills Lane or in Tourney Hills. Click here for a map showing where to park in the east end of the Blacklake Golf Course parking lot.
Parties: This is not the venue for a party for you, your child(ren), friends or neighbors. The pool is not big enough, there is no lifeguard, and a party is disruptive to other members.
Pets: Are not allowed anywhere in the enclosed pool area. Trained service dogs accompanying a disabled person are the only exception. Service dogs are allowed on the pool decking areas but not in the pool.
Rental Property Owners: Must ensure that all renters with pool access are aware of the pool hours and BLSC Rules & Regulations which apply to everyone who uses the pool/spa. Provide renters with the BLSC website to see this information and more (www.blacklakeswimclub.com).
Toys: Children may play with toys in the pool IF the toys were designed to be used in a pool. It’s very important to remove the toys from the water when not being used. Please make sure to collect and take toys home with you. If you leave toys in the water, they can drift into and jam up the filters and other pool mechanics, resulting in costly repairs.
Water Aerobics Classes: Are open to all members (up to 12 participants per class). The pool is reserved for class participants only during class times; however, others may enjoy the deck and spa.
Prohibited items and activities:
- Chewing gum
- Tobacco products of any kind (no chew, cigarettes, cigars, vaping)
- Glass containers of any kind
- Body powders (such as baby or talcum powder)
- Running, Pushing, Dunking
- Adult-sized floats and rafts
- Toys not designed for use in a pool
- Any games endangering the swimmers or sunbathers
Abusive behaviors, profanity, roughness or threats will be noted, and the person asked to leave.
General membership is over 100 members, translating to several hundred visits to the pool each month. This requires each of us, along with our guests, to show care and RESPECT for other members and the pool complex.
VIOLATION OF THESE RULES MAY RESULT IN TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP WITHOUT REIMBURSEMENT OF DUES
